Scrappers

For any 'post-apocalypse' games we play, such as Scrappers, Gaslands, Mercs, Dark Future or others

It says you do all your adds first, then finally divide.

Don't know about paragon (my book hasn't arrived yet) but if it's just another +3 like aiming, then a shot at CBT 5 would D10 + [(5+3+3)/2] = D10+5

Page 74 Scope, can someone explain to me why I'd ever buy this piece of gear!?

From memory it's because a weapons max efficient range is 20" so after this range you suffer a /2 to your CBT. I think the scope increases this range?

Slight range increase on shotguns and grenade launchers.

But more importantly the answer to the mystery of why you have guns with a range over 20" when the long range penalty always kicks in at 20. This bit of gear lets you ignore that.

Because you put one on the model thinking it would look cool.

Thanks. It was more a case of me thinking that it did nothing at all rather than thinking that what it did was useless. So yes Gary I will use it because it looks cool!

A few more rules cleared up

Hopefully I'll describe this properly:

A break action gets declared during the Edge players 2nd activation, it is resolved and the edge player finishes their second activation.

Whose activation is next? If the break player activates then they have effectively moved themselves out of the original activation order and will be moving their models first?

Hope that makes sense!

Answer:
Priority goes to the Secondary Player. It always passes back and forth.

Couple of questions:

1. If I have a Freelancer crew that only has 1 item of scarce gear after a battle, can a new recruit buy one? P.146 says a new hire is subject to normal faction type etc.
Seems a bit of a beardy tactic, but I couldn't see where it was specifically disallowed?

2. Can I really put a scope on a Flamethrower for a 20" range when Taking Aim?

Answer: crew creation rules only apply to start of campaign, cumbersome rule shouldsay no scopes allowed

The "Secondary player" being the player with the break? :?

So our interpretation (mine and Sven's) is right?
