Dreadball League 3

Isn't there a team upgrade that costs you a coaching dice to buy? I'd swear there was but I can't seem to find reference to needing to spend one to buy coaches or cheerleaders and they're all you can buy apart from cards and dice, right?

Also do coaching staff get to roll every single turn? If so, wow.

I think it's a coaching dice if you roll on the specialist table (or whatever it's called) for player upgrades.
Season 1, not sure about later seasons.

And yes, coaching staff every turn.

Straight to the bottom! Definitely going with a team with some strikers if I ever do this again.

They do make life quite a bit easier. On the plus side, being at the bottom of the table means you end up with the bye next round which gives you 3 league points.

I've posted up the matches for the rest of the rounds since they are all predetermined at this point. Play your matches any time as long as they are in the right order. This is the list of matches that can actually be played right now:

Round 5
Simon vs Mike

Round 6
Gary vs Dave

I'm going to drop out, not enjoying the league (to spread out, some people playing a lot more games than others [though choice and circumstances]), so I'll let Ray decide what he wants to do with my remaining games.

I'll be happy to play in a future league, but I think it needs to be done in a more compact manner.

I've updated everything to take into account Simon dropping out. If you would play Simon, you now automatically win 7-0. I can't think of any other sensible way to handle it at this point. The current list of matches waiting to be played is now:

Round 6
Ray vs Mike
Gary vs Dave

Round 7
Matt vs Sven

I've done some investigating and 2nd place is still very much up for grabs. With the exception of Dave (who can only make 5th) and Tom (who can get as high as 3rd), it is still possible for anyone to end up with 2nd place. Obviously it would be a lot easier for some people, and for people currently further down the table it is heavily dependant on the outcome of other people's games.

The list of games still to be played is:
Mike vs Dave
Ray vs Tom
Mark vs Gary
Matt vs Mike
Matt vs Dave
Sven vs Mark
Mike vs Tom

Play games in any order you like. At this point it would be nice just to get the whole thing finished.
