Shadows of Brimstone

Just looked to good to pass up, Wild West meets Warhammer Quest! In theory, the core sets should arrive in August, but I'm not holding my breath.

Had an update come out today, including link to the rulebook pdf.
Shipping will start late August/September, with all the Core sets due by the end of September (maybe October, depending on the ocean shipping). They've said they're shipping by region, but no more details than that, but reading between the lines I'm guessing that they'll ship all the US backers before moving to the RotW ( ).

Figures are goingto be on sprues - bit of a surprise, as originally they were going to be one-piece, but I can understand the need . Will be looking for a hand with assembly!

And finally, the rulebook:

Pledge Manager is live. I'm not upgrading (can't afford it, not because I don't want it!), but the PM allows me to add ONE extra Outlaw or Mine Cart pledge, so in the unlikely event anyone wants one of them, or any other of the add-ons, I'm leaving it open until Friday to get in on it.

Otherwise, should be with me late November/December.

And the costs wll be going up! They reckon at the current RRP the Mine Craft level is worth $1600!

How much do I pay to get $1600 worth of stuff?

$480 I think. I can check if you're really interested.
I think Outlaw (the level I have) is worth about $400-500. Might be a bit less, as that was someone working it out, not the company.

[Edit] Someone worked it out, based on FFP's est. MRP, and Outlaw comes to about $700 with 81 figures (x10 Large, x1 XL, x1 XXL), not sure if that includes the stretch goals they've changed, or at the original MRP or updated MRP.
Basically, I think it works out a good deal. ;)

Right, just checked the PM.

The new Mine Cart level is $560, Outlaw is $200 (including shipping).
I "think" taking a MC would be a little cheaper than that, as I'd have to update my Outlaw to MC first, then add a Outlaw, but there's not much in it, maybe $10-20 dollars.

I was just curious. I'm no business expert and I was just wondering how they can afford to sell it for less than a third of its RRP. Or are mark ups so high on plastic soldiers that they still make a profit selling it at that price!?
