Yep. Gotta make the tough decision on whether to stick with this or add to my DBX pledge (given that I have Shadows of Brimstone coming as a dungeon crawl game).
Just not enough birthday money to do both.

Hmm. The rules don't seem massively exciting from what's released so far, but then that's not much. The main selling point of the game will be the campaign rules and if they go full WHQ random table glorious madness.

That said even if the game is an unknown, that's a lot of dungeon tiles and minis that could be re-purposed to D&D. But I have hundreds of D&D minis I'll never get around to painting since the first Reaper bones Kickstarter. Be strong Tom! Resist!

For me it's the different way to play that make it attractive - the fact you can play vs the "AI" as both heroes and the Necromancer, and can also play it 1v1 (both ways) or in full blown WHQ mode give it a lot of replay value, and it looks simple enough that it might be a game I can actually play at home with my son (which I really need to do before he decides to leave home!).
