As mentioned previously my elves will be one team covering all styles. So for the high elf play style 'Summer Breeze'.

Finally I have completed the set I planned ten years ago. It took a long time to find mummies I liked!

As a foot note. Pip in all his grandeur. Teams now to big for my light box!

Just to finish I will need another two skeletons, an Orc thrower, an Orc lineman and a troll. No rush.

Getting closer, three out of the four elf plays now completed. Three models to go for the set. :)

I had really run out of ideas when it came to the ogres but when Lunchmoney ran a tournament with a pirate theme it seemed to fit. Quite happy with the results too.

We have the Captain Firebeard who's beard literally starts to smoulder when he gets angry,
The Bo'sun, he off the mighty voice who can be heard anywhere on the field, with his parrot-vulture,
Voodoo who's skin crawls with the spirits of all Firebeard has betrayed,
Kraken is a crew member that once woke everyone after a boisterous night with cries of a ship sinking beast. Once everyone was awake and it was found to be a small octopus they sewed it onto his head,
Loot is the ships treasurer who keeps the gold safe by eating it. The gold is absorbed into his skeleton and recently Firebeard had to remove his hand when he had to replace the ship. His body holds a map to the location of the loot but no one has worked out yet that it always leads to where he is.
Finally Boy, the new crew member. (Also painted in the style of what I would look like as a player, including vicious sun-burn, which has been mentioned in another tournament idea locally.)

Team 18, Ogre - Firebeards Freebooters

As mentioned many times my elves will be one team covering all styles. So for the wood elf play style 'Spring Shower'.

Another to big for the light box moment. All of Eternal Lament together. I'm one assassin short of the complete set up. I have the GW special character but as I've picked up a couple of others they will all go together.

Team 20, Norse - The Mabden Horde

Only A little theme on this one. All the standard stuff is from the original GW box, with additional linemen donated by Simon " 'cause I don't like the line dancing YMCA poses", but as they re-wrote the rules after the set there are no official werewolf and yethee models. As the locals know I'm a big fan of the Moorcock Eternal Champion series so as a little tribute I've taken some oblique fererence from the first Corum trilogy. In the books Chaos has taken control of the realm through their followers, in this case humanity called the Mabden, and Corum, an Elf, helps destroy them along with (spoilers) just about everything else. Briefly ( and I mean briefly) the Mabden Gods are mentioned as 'The Hound and the Horned Bear' and this is where the theme appears. I have chosen old GW beastmen as my werewolves as they have dog faces and my yethee is Willy Miniatures War Bear. My Horde with their God aspects.
