Hello All,

I have read that the new dreadball league starts this week.

Is anyone playing 40k?

On a side note I looked at our Twitter page for the first time and the headline reads "we don't play 40k or Fantasy....."
That's just poor marketing! We might not play but having that tag line might put others off ever visiting the club.

So to whoever manages the powerhouse that is the "ARBBL Social Media Division" please can you remove it at your earliest convenience.

It's there because we've had quite a few turn up (or email) about the club, only to be disappoinnted because we don't play 40K and WFB, so it's called being open and honest up front.
Of course, now you and Mark have ruined that, so I'll have to change it one day...

As for next week, you don't have to play DB, but Ray is going to stick with each "game week" being 2 weeks real time, so you'd have to get your game in the week after. No idea on 40K, as Mark couldn't make this week in the end, so Chunk didn't pop down.

It should read, please don't play these god awful games. WFB better get a new version and it had better get rid of the stupid charging rules in the current one. Those two simple rule changes killed wfb

I appreciate that we need to be honest about these things but Mark plays and I'm getting into it a little bit. I didn't realise we had had people turn up and then not come back because they've been told we don't play 40k. I'm sure if we can get them through the door, so to speak, with the promise of 40k games then you can go to work converting them to Blood Bowl!

Many of these visitors happened while you were on your travels. We even ran games for kids for a couple of months but none of us really new the new rules and no one was playing. This was before Mark and after C.J. It has been commented that due to space and time big games are difficult, though we have been told downstairs is available as long as there is no committee meeting, so we have fallen into the skirmish habit.
