Good stuff, it’s always satisfying to complete a project.

What’s the plan for the Escher?

What if some Escher gangers found some old armour and kit in the bins round the back of the Blood Angel and Imperial Fist bases? They'll be count as space marines (non primaris) and I really underestimated the size difference between Escher and Space Marine heads

Oh sorry, I read the story you posted but didn’t put 2 and 2 together.

Yeah Escher heads are quite small, could work though!

needed to build necks for the few i've done so far, they fall into the neck holes otherwise. I'm using the MK3 armour box from the 30k games, it's smaller and more 'fluff friendly'

a little taster pic. this will be the HQ unit (likely a lieutenant due to points costs)

Plans also include a 4 'man' company veteran squad (the most kitbashed models in the set) and a 10 man tactical squad - which will split into combat patrols with one half deployed in a razorback, with twin assault cannons.

Cool, doesn’t look as pin headed as I thought it might.

Is this going to be another 500 point army?

Yeah,

I'm then going to work out how points of something i can squeeze out of the collection of random sprues i have lying around. There's got to be some sort of Inquisitorial vanguard detachment in all this.

Painted a few minis for the Zoom D&D campaign I'm in. A mix of the D&D minis you can buy in shops and kitbashes were used. The D&D are pretty well made and you get two variants in a blister for like a fiver. I would recommend them for random character models for other games. They feel like a light resin stuff, but as they've done the building and priming you can slap paint on out of the packet 8-)

Group Shot (compressing the pics has made them slightly grainy for some reason this time)

My Crazy Gnome - Po Kue (bashed from a Squig rider using a wood elf head, the wall is made from sprue clippings)

Suzy's Dragonborn Sorcerer - Nala (pre built and primed D&D model - that rising up ice thing was clear plastic and already attached to the model)

Jenny's Dwarf - Jennora (pre built and primed D&D model)

Lizzie's Ranger - Avery (pre built and primed D&D model)

Nelly's Halfling Bard - Myldred (pre built and primed D&D model)

Max's Half Elf Paladin - Thorston (bashed from Frostgrave knight, used a couple of Cawdor upper arms to extend the legs)

And finally, I made a bash of Jim the DM (bashed from Frostgrave cultist & wizard and Warhammer Flagellants)

Made a new crazy tall thing. This is an Inquisitor, converted from the Deathwatch Watch Master model.
