Was a good evening of ship to ship combat. Many admirals died, mine got rescued from a wrecked plagueship :)

It was the power of the chaos sorcerers that took my breath away.

Really enjoyed that, must do it again. I've read on Al's twitter that I've been credited with a draw - happy with that, as although I'd smashed up a lot of Dave's fleet I think I was in for a bruising if there'd been another turn (the Bell was in BIG trouble).

I did like the old-skool feel of using hundreds of tokens. ;)

No tokens on our seascape, the laminated templates and a wipe pen all that was needed.

My chaos sorcerer failed to dispel Ray's magic on turn 1, and lost a point of power. Didnt have any spells to cast of his own. On turn 2 he again failed to dispel Ray's magic and blew himself up - taking his tower with him.

Gary's chaos sorcerer did something similar, I believe, and blew himself up on turn 2 :)

You could say his first turn as he only had power cards in the games first turn. Tried a 7+ spell with four power boost. Oh well.

(Hopefully) put them in a shared Drobox.

Added the updated Ship cards (3.1) that Al sent in an email.

Is everyone happy to start campaign battles in the new year? recording fleets and battle honours etc?

The first Tuesday of 2015 is the 6th. I should be ok to play then if others are.

I know Gary is planning to start his delayed Mordheim campaign in the New Year, and Mike's planning a Deadzone campaign, so might be a bit pushed from the get go.

Merry new year, admirals.
When are you free to start campaign fleet engagements?

Hi all,

First visit to the site this year and yes I would be keen to sail again but truthfully Feb is likely to be start date.

Are we straight in to campaign or another game, I'm still rusty.
