Taddeus was an easy build kit and that red plastic is ridiculously hard compared to the grey stuff, so grinding his head out was an effort. Not 100% happy with the join between head and neck, might need some more 'flair' on him

Banner pole from Flagellant, had to cut and rotate the poles to get the orientation i wanted (not very health and safety minded)

The full crew. The two pole armed guys at the back (pointy hats) with the leader will be champions. The rest will be ganger/juve as needed.

I've seen people making thralls and serfs to follow characters around in 40k as wound counters. That might be my next bash project

I might do this with some of the bits. Serfs, relic bearers etc.. they'd be noncombatant but on the table to show wounds left or something.

Found someone else on Insta who built a Redemptionist gang - using Taddeus as the leader too, coincidence! - and they made a good point about using Helot Cultist rules. They're not using the witch character, but some of the abilities for the leader work well. I like the idea, but i'm half expecting to see something come out in the Cawdor book so won't be adding Book of Ruin to my library.

Actually, that's a good idea. Might make it look like it's torn from some Militarum issue equipment and defaced with cult symbols.

I have the Book of Ruin so sharing the 3-4 pages of rules electronically shouldn’t be to hard (even for me!)

But I agree about half expecting Redemption cult rules in the Cawdor book, what else is there.....
