I'll be ordering bits this weekend. So with that and the Underworlds tournament in Southampton, any time from the 30th works for me

Should we pencil this in for the 30th then? Once you've figured out how many points you can do let me know and I'll write something to match it.

That works. Realised earlier I have a bloat drone too, so that's more points

Got a game happening at mine on saturday to try out the rules. You are welcome to come along if you want. It is a bit of a trek though.

Won't be able to make it, can't get baby sitter cover. :(

But here's a pic of the movement trays I found in use

Love how those marines look. Unfortunately those trays won't work for me. I was looking for 32mm trays for gargoyles and those holes in those are too close together so there's no way the gargoyles will fit with the way their wings stick out.

Thanks :)
And yeah I can see gargoyles being a pain. A couple of the marines took some... finessing to fit

It's a really good ruleset. We played 300 points a side (so around 6k in 40k terms) and got though the game in an afternoon with only one person on each side. The tyranids won but a wide margin but lessons were learnt, you have to focus fire to achieve anything. At the end of the game there were damage markers on a lot of tyranid units but that is completely meaningless when they are spread over the whole army.
