Kingdoms of Men Project

Kingdoms of Men Project

Postby Dave » Mon Jul 08, 2019 4:31 pm

A few weeks back I binged watched The Last Kingdom on Netflix which led me to have some crazy ideas about getting back into mass battle gaming (specifically KoW). At the same time Games Workshop released their contrast paints promising painted models quicker. The two combined led to the following. 27 models built and painted in just over a week using predominately contrast paints.

Very nice. Certainly effective.

With you and Ray both throwing out Norse men I'm going to have to find some priests to paint.

Well those are looking amazing. Assuming you used transfers and banner sheets? Seriously considering doing a unit based army at some point, they look so much better than ranked up single models.

Thanks. I’ll be honest and say the transfers and banners are doing all the heavy lifting! (Supplied by Little Big Man Studios)

I like the transfers and would highly recommend them, they have been designed specifically for these miniatures. They aren’t particularly cheap but each model still comes in at under a pound.
