I thought we had worked this out very early on. Remember having the 'it's a chasm' chat near the beginning. Even before range three existed.

If we did I'd forgotten - would have made a difference in a few turns I had when I was using the Striders.

Seems Echoes of Glory has gone out of print, which means there will some cards that Shadespire owners won't have unless they re-buy the Steelheart/Reaver boxes (trying to get a list of which cards).

@Moodygit - easy to find when you know where to look! (As in, I didn't, but saw it mentioned in another post!)

Shadespire rules, p.22, side box: "Modifiers change a characteristic or roll. For example, a fighter with the Great Fortitude upgrade has +1 Wound, so this fighter’s Wounds characteristic is increased by one."
(Not sure where in the NV rules as don't have them to hand.)

Now the question is what were we getting wrong before that made us (you, Mike, me) think that it didn't work that way!

Only thing I could find in the faq was sprint. Multiply first and example showed the +1 card is still counted afterwards.
No idea what started but one of the threads I read today said what we believed before? ! ? !

I think I'll just take all the +'whatever' cards out of my deck, should save on a lot of hassle!

Don’t expect anyone to stay alive long enough for the tome and my only source of second moves is RfA which is 9 times out of 10 being used for an attack.
