Ah, Skaven are great for you Simon, just your race. They don't work 3/5 times and you feel so angry but every so often they just work.

It's the fact most times you can moan about them (with justification) and then that one game the Doombell works and BOOM, it all happens. Skaven is such a Darkson race...

Last time we played this I joined last and ended up in a battle against Pass's undefeated and extremely nasty DE fleet. I had that one game where the Skaven work and sank his Black Ark.

I have my very limited chaos, but am quite happy to take on a different fleet if someone can supply models.

Gary did you say you like Khorne as I have pretty decent fleet size of them. And nurgle too.

I have a mixed chaos fleet made up of uncharted seas models. It would be fun to supplement with yours to go power specific.

So Al, you going DEs and Paul Empire? It would be cool to have a mix of races wouldn't it?

I was looking at Chaos (Nurgle oriented), just played DEs vs Paul as they were saner for learning with. Turns out they aren't due to Ark and Monsters

But if others are looking at Chaos and no one has DEs I'll do DEs.

I've got Elves, a lot of Dwarfs, and some Bretonnians. Could lend 2-3 fleets out to people.

That leaves four to pick and choose. It appears we all are happy to play with something that hasn't gone yet so if there's a fleet available I'll take Chaos dwarf, if not dwarf.

I picked up my fleets today and I will try to audit over the weekend. Just to clarify I think Chaos should be clearly split to have Khorne, Nurgle and Slanesh as fleets. I have plenty of all those to make 2000pt fleets (and that's too much). Don't forget they need Chaos galleys as part of their fleet.

As well as 5 squads of chaos death galleys, slanesh, Khorne and Nugle got High elf, brettonian, skaven, empire, dwarf, chaos dwarf, orcs, Vikings and Dark elves. No official ships but I also have templates for Undead from a white dwarf.

(The following is opinion based on 1000pt fleets and just my silly thoughts)

Orcs are hard work, never sussed them. Fair play to you who do
Vikings are not much on their own
Empire is by far the best race
Followed soon by Dwarves
Brett's are fun by eck you need the wind!!
High elves were fun, under valued them in hindsight
Dark elves I rarely played.
