And interesting it was. Certainly was the final I hoped for. Thanks Sven for an awesome game. Full of cinematic moments, including such things as Buzzcut walking to the Sin Bin with a 'what did I do' shrug of the shoulders as he was removed for five turns for tripping in the opening move and my injured striker failing to pick up a ball as it explodes at her feet, narrowly dodging the incoming replacement which bounced of her arm and failing again to pick it up as she was scared it would explode again.
A game in which we scored in every turn except the exploding ball! This was the difference between us at the end, oh and the jack laying on the four point scoring hex, so I lost the game -2.

I lost the battle but won the war as the result meant we were tied at the end of the league and I had a higher team rating.

Much fun, and although we had to pack up early I'm going to give a moral victory to Oli (but not a ranked loss for me ).

Early kick-off for the Pick'n'Mix, as Blocknroll popped over to play his round 1 game.
Unerworld (me) with Glart vs Vamps (Blocknroll) with Helmet Wulf, and ended up a 1-1 draw, probably a bit lucky for me. Nearly managed to make a break for a winning score, but failed to catch an accurate pass.

Not much gaming towards the end of the year, what with XMas and other stuff, just managed another loss at Deadzone (although I couldn't stay till the game end, I knew a loss was inevitable) and won a game of Spartacus.

Won more than I lost, so hapy with that, but with the looming DZ campaign and the lack of BB and or DB on the horizon I expect this year will be different.
