A couple of emails around, are we getting a game on? On 21st Oct maybe?

I was going to start a section for this myself. So 21st I can do, that will also give me time to sort my stuff out like templates etc. it's all boxed up in storage!

Couple of questions; I think we need to agree on base platform. By that I mean the following, given that plague fleet needs to be in for Gary and I think that is where skaven came in too;

Are we going all rules in from the off?
Yes or no to flying stuff?
Yes or no to sea monsters?
Yes or no to allied races (Norse are considered available to all so that's different)?
Yes or no to forts?


Personally, whilst I love all of them, for the first few games it might be best to avoid all of those 4 areas. Once we have done a few games for everyone flyers and sea monsters are cool, forts never got used unless in a scenario. I was not so keen on mixed / allied races, it kind of lost the flavour of the game but I think all fleets should be in?

Next questions; for those with no models, tip me off what races you would like to use so I can come more or less prepared with a selection you would like to see?

Can't recall whether we used them last time out or not, but it's been a while (2 years?) since I last played, so I'd probably say no.

I liked the Skaven fleet last time out, though I'm happy to play anything.

I'm cool with all fleets being in and flyers being used if you have them.

Personally I'm going to dig out my entire set (I think all my ships are in one case) and the box o' stuff (decks, templates, tokens etc) and put them all in the car.

Iirc none of them have paint bar undercoat. That isnt going to be an issue, right?

Lol, ships are ships Al but I have plenty to lend out.

I'd agree with Si, say yes to all fleets and no to everything else.

Summary:
Sea of blood; contents page is sea monsters 7-13, not yet. They are great but not yet. Then air power 14-32 not yet. Additional rules, allies p33-35 no. But p37 to 52 which is Dwarf deardnought, empire extras and Norse, all yes.

Plague Fleet; It's all in. All the Chaos, the CDs, Skaven. All good to go.

Main game. Perhaps all in then, Shoreforts on p70 is a minor thing and frankly a waste of cash.

Any thoughts? Happy with that idea?

Last run we did was basic rules plus all fleets. We never had fliers so didn't bother. Keep it simple and may introduce extras another day?
