Salute 2017 - 22nd April

General chit chat about stuff other than gaming. Not sure what that is though.

Getting any kind of discount sounds good to me!

I'll have to see if I can get some "time off". I have a free rail ticket so won't need to be part of the group booking.

Posted on the Salute FB page:
Many people may have seen that Custom House on the DLR is closed this year, and not allowing people to exit for the ExCel Exhibition Centre. There is no need to worry, the next station Prince Regent is open, and as Salute 2017 has moved right down to the east end of ExCel the show will be closer to this station.
So it will should be easier to get in to the show this year, less of a walk!!

If 3/4 of us going can use group saver or my railcard.

Probably out, as new rota means I'm working Sat night, though i might book it off.
Assume for time being I'm not going.

Assuming I don't go, will anyone be willing to keep an eye out for a few things for me? Just some (Mongoose) Judge Dredd boxes, now the game has gone out of production -
should have got them when I first wanted to  (I blame Mike for making me get Pumpkinheads ;) ).

If so, I'll make a list and try and find some pics.

Waiting for update on offers. If no offer then the all inclusive ticket is about £28 with either railcard or group saver.
8.30 train should get us there 10.30ish. Last few times this was good as the wait wasn't so bad. Have got their earlier but tended to flag about 4.
Leave whenever.
Just need to remember to take rucksack with plenty of liquid and snacks plus card games.

When do you want paying for tickets? Naturally I'll get my own for the doors.

Salute ticket purchased and downloaded. £12 vs £20 on the door is a no brainer.
