2017 Campaign Season.

After Gary mentioned his 7 week rota I thought I would be a bit more prepared for 2017.

Games I want to play for the new year are; Anyaral, Kings of War, Walking Dead, Mordheim, Campaign/season game, Boardgame and RPG. Leaving a week or two for incidental games, specially where some of these games can be played in the same week. Hopefully this will push me to paint as well.

If anyone wants to run a true season/ campaign please put your name and game forward so that I can see if I want to play.

If not wanting a set season/campaign does anyone want a relaxed DB extreme open free for all season, not league/campaign based. We have enough pitches and models for everyone twice over so no extra expense for anyone. Not to record win, loss or draw but more of what epic moments happened.

1. Would like to do a Frostgrave campaign, using some/all of the scenarios from the supplements, but need to play it a few more times to see if I can get a full game in on my working nights.

2. Why not play DBX as a campaign? It's only the sponsor that gets better?

3. Still plan a Necromunda campaign, but I want to get the special rules written up first (and get the necessary model made), so that wouldn't be till later in the year.

4. BB league ongoing (once, maybe twice every 7 weeks).

Kingdom Death? I keep thinking I should bring it along to give the opening fight a try and see if people fancy a campaign.

I thought the plan was to run dbx with the campaign rules but no set schedule of games. Everyone can just play whoever they want when they feel like it and it shouldn't go too imbalanced because it's only the sponsor that improves.

Based on my attempt to link what I am playing with what I am spending money on, I should be playing Kings of War, Dropfleet Commander, Malifaux, and Necromunda this coming year.

This year I will be concentrating on playing RPG, walking dead, drop fleet/zone (possibly some sort of campaign?), board games, and if enough people are on board dbx.

Given how my past new years resolutions have gone not sure how well this'll work but I hope to be playing DB2, Malifaux, Kings and perhaps the odd small game of 40k or Necromunda.

Oh right, If we're talking general 2017 wishlists then throw in more Malifaux and board games for me.

And semi-regular play in some kind of campaign system in any format would be good.

Right, some sort of structure. This obviously will only work if I have opponents for the days mentioned. If the games fall off of the map or something else becomes new and shiny I can/will change. (Such as one Frostgrave will go for the final Mordheim if we ever get there and is X-wing a thing or just a one off enjoyable game.)
