I'll email all my guests in the next couple of days, in case someone doesn't see this message.
I contacted my venue yesterday to ask about getting a second, or larger, room so those on the reserves can come along. They replied this morning to tell me they are closing the entire hotel for a 3 week period that includes this weekend and they cannot honour any bookings!!
To say I am pissed off is putting it lightly. If I hadn't contacted them I wouldn't have know and we all would have turned up on the day to be very disappointed!
I am now in search of a new venue that can help us out and I will try to keep the catering in. If I can't find anywhere that will feed us I will refund the part of the ticket cost that was for lunches.
It will still be in the Bournemouth/Poole area and I will keep you all updated with news as I get it.

Eventually one venue stepped up and said they had a room we can use and they can cater!
The new venue is:
The Venue
Avon Causeway Inn
Hurn Road
Hurn
Christchurch
Dorset
BH23 6AS
01202 482714
http://www.avoncauseway.co.uk
The rules .pdf has been updated with the new address (refresh your cache if your browser downloads the old one).
The new venue will be doing a hot & cold buffet on the Saturday and a roast on the Sunday, so no change there
If you take a look at their website you will see a train on the side of the building (the site used to be a railway station) - we will be playing the train
After checking the place I believe there is a little more room (4 places) so those on the reserves list have been sent a PM to notify them of the places and they get first refusal.
Apologies to Canteloup there is no real wheelchair access to the train without bringing your own ramp.
If anyone who has paid no longer wants to attend please let me know asap and I can send you a refund.
I will send an email to all my guests who I have email addresses, but please share this message so as many people as possible see it and no one goes to the old venue by mistake.
As an added bonus, the manager, Andy, plays Bloodbowl online
