Kings of War progress! Not super happy with how either of these units came out, the method that worked for my clansmen hasn't produced as good results for the elves, and I suck at painting faces, but I'm trying to rattle through them quickly so that I can hopefully play my next game with a fully painted army!

They look good to me. Once you put the units together like that they look great, also the smaller details donā€™t matter too much when arrayed like that.

A mounted hero ready to join the Northern Alliance. Made a nice change to paint a single model after doing so many ranked infantry units. 3 more units to go and I'll have painted the whole of the mega army boxset and can start buying new models!

Edit: just noticed how wobbly his axe is, bloody resin!

Needed a break from Kings of War, so decided to reward the termagant who killed one of Brad's Custodians in close combat by returning him to the spawning pods to re-emerge as a Tyrannofex!
