After careful weighing up of abilities between these, the Zouko(?) box and the Parker box (and wanting to leave a door open for some Tanukis) this kind of happened

Thinking of running them like this

New Misaki Katanaka Crew (Ten Thunders)
Size: 50 - Pool: 10
Leader:
Misaki Katanaka
Totem(s):
Shang
Hires:
Ototo
Torakage + Trained Ninja
Torakage 2 + Trained Ninja
Thunder Archer
Thunder Archer 2

Those archers look maddening to play against, so probably an excellent choice.

I liked the Katanaka sniper's ability to ignore concealment and friendly fire, so was looking at that box. But these guys were cheaper and look meaner on the card. I particularly like the ignoring concealment to shoot, but it could cause extra damage to the target and the ability to destroy markers at a distance.

Hopefully, now I've looked at the cards on the app I see what you mean about Misaki and using shadow markers. And I think all of the crew can benefit from them in some way too.

I have the snipers, crimes bosses and yamaziko you can borrow if you feel like switching things up.

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. I'm going to try to get a few games down with these as they are and get used to them first. We'll see how that goes

I will need to borrow a deck when playing as I cannot find one anywhere at the moment it seems

Good idea, my scatter gun approach to collecting and playing Malifaux is not recommended!

Tom had a deck for sale, but it was 4(!) years ago.

Otherwise I have my spare deck you can use.
