Beasts of War once suggested ways of trying to make 40K different and one suggestion was the bag of dice orders shenanigans from Bolt action. ;)

I may have to bring out my forlorn hope khorne warriors for a breath of fresh air.

I'm up for small and large games and escalation gives me the chance to finish an army at last ;). Happy to loan minis if people want to make bigger armies to join in the later stages.

Is club on tomorrow, I was hoping to get some practice with the new rules before we start the campaign proper.

Just got into list planning and hit a snag...

Say for round 2 my choices only come to 245pts, can I then take 255pts for round 3?

Yes, rounds are set at 500, 750, 1000 etc. Like all GW you can use less at each so you'll only be 'down' at the middle stage.

Dug out the box of khorne,

10 Raptors
9 bikes
10 marines
10 berserkers
2 rhinos
1 predator
10 possessed
A selection of bloodhounds
Warrior mounted on the beast.

Originally designed as a fast khornate force. Will see what it comes out for 500 etc

Anyone send me a pdf of the SM codex - just the standard one, none of those weird ones.

I've got the standard codex but only in hard copy. I will bring it tomorrow.

JAC,

No worries with regards to your list. 5-10 points carry over from round to round is fine.

Also if anyone has any changes for the "rules" I suggest a deadline for submission of these by the end of tomorrow night's club. This is so people can sort out their lists without fear of last minute rule changes.

Cheers,
Dave

I did type a fair size post and it didn't submit for some reason, Grrrr. I think stick with the restrictions for 500pts and then the gloves are off! Victory gives a re roll of seize the initiative or an extra draw and then discard the worst on the mission cards no extra points or anything.
