130 - I know! It's not actually that big, it just adds up though. The map I sketched out last week for 5 players was 13x9... A home tile and 'home territory' is 7 tiles, so you're already up to 33% of the board with just those. Physically, I hoping it will fit on a 60x40cm board but it will depend on how it's configured.

I am super excited to be a part of this, and will actually attempt to paint models

Sweet! Donna's going to get a paint job just for 1 outing!!!

Small Update - I realise a couple of people we're waiting... ;)

Prison painted:

A little overgrown but should suffice. And yes Mike, I did actually contemplate painting the windows on and had to restrain myself (I hear our earlier conversation go round my head!).

I'm quite pleased with the actual model as it was an hour or so of CAD work on Sunday evening that turned out well. And I learnt a few new techniques which is always a bonus. Need to get on and sort out the city centre...

As promised else where, a short update.

Firstly the tiles. Starting from the left; Danger Zone Tile (13 completed!), National Guard Outpost on one of the map tile frames will a coloured faction insert and on the right, the 'Creepers' home tile.

The NG Outpost on it's own...

And finally something to give it a bit of scale (in case anyone can't quite picture 35mm across the flats  ). I had to get some more of my crew done...

On the table I've also got 2 hospitals and 3 Police Stations in various stages of paint. Hopefully should be completed by the end of the week.

I put a few more pics up on our FB page, including the comparison pic above, and while our page isn't the busiest, it got a couple of comments: "Amazing work" and "Dude gimme a link where I can print these", so it's not just us impressed. ;)

I'd noticed when having a quick browse! Always good to hear positive comments although a little surprised that someone would want to print the tiles - they're rather bespoke to a dedicated campaign so can't quite see what use they would be elsewhere. Anyhoo, nice comments. Hopefully it might up the traffic a little or at least showcase what we get up to.

So this week has been relatively productive. First up (again these are own design), Gabriel's Church (x1) and a warehouse/distribution centre (3 made and based on a local design that hasn't burnt down :o ). I fell that this will be a popular tile to get as it will allow groups to get hold of melee weapons and special items over 20pts. There's only a couple items over 20pts but if you can't see the benefit, wait until you're on the receiving end  ! I anticipate Sven will be making a bee-line for one of these!

Next up, the landscape was looking a little flat so a few hills were in order. No printing this time, just good old Fimo, a bit of sculpting and 30 mins in the oven followed bu a lick of paint and some flock. Below is a selection of 4 of the 18 tiles produced.

Finally, the city centre that will sit at the centre of the campaign map. I did not design the buildings - after a bit of searching I found the designs on Thingiverse. Someone had designed a load of buildings for a board-game version of SimCity - I just took the designs did a little bit of re-scaling. These are on between 20 and 30% of the intended size, so a little of the detail has been lost in translation but all-in-all, does what it needs to do. Have to say I'm quite happy with the paint job and layout. Still need to sort out rules/bonuses for the tiles... (ARBBL fix before trying routine... ).

All up, over half way there. 72 of the 127(?) tiles required are now done. I've also semi-sorted a board on which to put the map/tiles and will bring along next Tues for comment and critique.

Sweet jebus! :o  :o  :o

I've moved the pics to an album on FB so I can update it easier. If anything needs changing just let me know (I've quoted your posts here).

Wow, this is inspirational!

I did end up getting that walking dead set, so will have to paint them up very soon!

Absolutely amazing. You could even use the tile layout as the game layout.

OS map version would have been ok you didn't have to go for Google Earth.
