Cool. I am liking the look of it a lot (the terrain and battle boards are very nice).

I am hoping it is the first step on the road to rebooting epic (which lets be honest is a much better scale for a 40k type game).

Epic was where I started with GW so any sort of return to it is welcome

I'd play it but can't currently see me buying in. It looks like it'll be expensive. Rumours are it'll be GWs most expensive starter box yet and that a lot of the optional stuff is going to be Forgeworld.

Also sounds like it's much more focusing on giant robot duels than a return to Epic armies.

Though that was how Epic started back in the day, so... ;)

Interested, as AT/Epic was always the GW game I wished I'd got into but missed, but unlikely I'll be buying into it.
Happy to play though.

It is a bigger scale than the original. Nearer 10mm than 6mm.

I think it's been officially stated as 8mm? But the size of things is actually going to be consistent unlike the old epic where the titans were way smaller than they should have been.

Assuming I can get a decent discount somewhere, absolutely. Also that price is for the big box, which contains more than you really need to get started with one player.
