Sounds like the Shadespire corebox is being discontinued, replaced by Steelhearts and Reaver warband boxes (and possibly a board pack and/or neutral card pack, but neither confirmed), so if you're still thinking of getting into the game and you want it, get it now, as it's likely that once a store sells out, that's it.

There's no Shadespire box on the GW store now, so this sounds plausible. The section for Spire and Valut has renamed to Warhammer Underworlds too.

A thought that I'd missed.

Assuming you decide to get into the game.
Steelhearts box + Reavers box + board pack*+ neutral card pack** will cost more than just picking up a Shadespire core set.
(Approx £17.50x2 + £20 + £??** vs £40)

Some places might have it on sale if it's been discontinued as well.

[Edit II] And then you'd still be without dice and tokens...

I believe there are a mere 5 of the original core box neutral cards that weren't reprinted in Nightvault. I can't see a neutral card pack coming.
