Player placed lethal hexes. Objectives flipping to become lethal! Cleared up keyword rules. I’m certainly still keen.

I didn't stop being keen! I just cannot afford to drop that much money each year for something designed to last 18 months - 2 years. The worrying thought is how much of my stuff will be invalid this time next year.

I’m hoping we can still keep games going at the club through whatever format works for people.

For the moment I imagine the Beastgrave core will have mostly reprints like NV did, and any new ones will all be in doubles so easy to lend out and then we’re all still in the same position when it comes to card pool.

I liked the hybrid and dual objectives

The dual objectives I've seen just seem to be slightly clearer worded versions of old objectives - the "if" and "and" one for sure.
Not saying their not better that way, just they not really anything new.

In theory, hold objectives 1-5 excluded, I could have no or very few universal cards this time next year (when S4 drops). I'd already decided to give Beastgrave a miss, even before this, as I feel 16 warbands is enough for me, especially as I've not played (more than) half of them.

Still happy to play 'casual' at the club.

Maybe if they start running 'open' or 'legacy' tournaments I'll start (trying to!) attending them again.

(Don't forget, I can't/don't watch any gaming videos, so I've not seen the playthrough vid.)

Ooops forgot. Another slight pain is the slight change in rules every edition, though welcome, mean a core set is required every time.
