Ok I read too much. Page 48 small rulebook a model may not charge if engaged.

The reason I added was that Tom, you and I were talking about this and it went along the lines of if you declare a walk the strike can happen but not if you charge, push or move etc. As charge is not a walk their is no strike. It confused me.

Just read a few more tactics for disengaging. If you don't have los to the leaver you can't strike. Comments included walking around higher scenery or putting one of your own taller models in between the combatants.

Another that confused me was the engage vs strike. I missed one point when Mei was engaged , within my 3, but your model only had range 1 so I could not have been hit when disengaging.

I thought I might not be able to succeed on the disengagement so I attacked with Mei instead.
