What flavour of wizard are people making? I can’t decide so might let my desire to be a unique snowflake be the guide.

I'm tempted by an Enchanter, but I'm not 100% decided yet.
I won't be playing a Chronomancer though, as that was what I used last time.

Are frostgrave wizards always human? I might have failed to get hold of "wizard with hamburger" but it turns out I do own a zoat wizard. Is being larger than normal going to screw anything up?

No, wizards (and soldiers) are whatever you want them to be, there are no racial stats so doesnt matter if you use a human, elf, dwarf, zoat or beholder!
Only thing to be a little wary of is that the bigger the base the easier it is to get ganged up on (though this bonus is now capped) and that you may have some difficulty moving around some terrain, though I dont think that will be a huge problem.
The only other thing you'll see online about using bigger models is that you get better LOS, though that's offset by the fact that if you get LOS then you can be seen, and you'll probably get less cover (you'll also see people online saying using smaller models if unfair, as you can hide better, but if you can't be seen then you can't see either). In other words, they have advantages and disadvantages, so it all balances.

I 'think' I have a Clan Skyre(sp?) modell somewhere, and if so tempted to make the Enchanter warband using skaven (standard) and gnoll (specialist) but will probably have to use what I've got to hand for the next 4-6 weeks as my close-up visions got really bad so waiting for an eye test (
).
