While at Musketballs in Southampton yesterday was talking to Bob, the owner. He was looking at holding an Shadespire event near the end of May and, as I said we'd (4, maybe more?) would be interested he's looking to run it on the 2nd or 3rd June, most likely the 3rd (Sun), which works for Gary and myself.

Not confirmed yet, so don't go booking around it, but as soon as he gets a confirmed date and more details I'll post them over.

So the remaining two are Jul 1st and Jul 29th according to FB.

Were you planning on going to either Simon/Mike/Gary?

Given Gary's tales of the first one I'm not so inclined to head up on my own without at least one opponent with me!

I'm probably out due to rota.

[Edit] Actually, can hopefully make the 29th, as that's the last day of my holiday, and I don't think we're going anywhere. Won't be able to guarantee until closer to the date though.

Gary is obviously too modest to post about it here, but he's now the proud owner of a glass trophy.
You can only beat those put in front of you.

Let's just hope they organise the next one a bit better.
