I'm apparently getting one of these for free for placing a large order with Wayland.

Anyone want it? Unless a bidding war erupts I'll let anyone have it for the cost of paying my club subs one night.

I hope they have improved. Going by my last experience, you might have a free rule book some point next year

No takers even for entirely free? It has arrived but my interest in WW2 gaming is pretty much zero.

Oh, go on then. I'm liking the look of their alternative history WW2 stuff (the name of which escapes me atm - Konflikt '47?) and I believe that uses the same rules.

No nobby, I'm not buying some British EW squads...

It's not all of it. I sent them an email asking for an estimated delivery and they sent what they had now with the rest to follow later! Just a pack of cards, some bases and a single paint anyway.

Even a partial order sent in 2weeks is better than most.

They once took 6 months to send me some paint.

Was it Mike that cancelled a Wayland order after 6+ months of runaround?

I admit that I don't even look at their site now - I've heard so many horror stories (both online and in the flesh) that even if they offered a 50% discount I'd give them a miss. I'll buy from them where they have a physical presence (even Salute) but online, no thanks.

The Outpost have comparable discounts, free postage (on £80+ orders), and fantastic customer service.

I had no idea they had such a bad rep. They just came up pretty high on a search for Malifaux UK stockists and were a smidge cheaper than the other one I checked out. I'll be aware for the future!
