I liked the board I made for Necromunda but in the process I learnt some lessons on what not to do (for example 18”x18” is probably a bit too big). I wanted to apply those lessons and so have started a new board. These are the first 3 tiles, 90% finished.

These tiles are also about 90% finished. The middle tile will have a Zone Mortalis door.

These tiles need some detail and weathering added. Tile on the right will also use some ZM doors.

And finally the remaining built tiles. The middle and right tiles will utilise more ZM doors.

Sweeeeet.

Nice. Really like the look of the toxic sludge, how did you do it?

The toxic sludge was a neon green paint mixed with black and brown, I then added more neon green and tried to create a swirl type effect. It was painted on pretty thick to try and make it look like it is flowing. Then I used some resin water effect stuff poured over the top. I had used poly filler and a layer of PVA prior to applying the paint to try and make a water tight base for the resin so that it wouldn’t leak through the blue foam.

Very nice - would work nicely for any post-apoc/futuristic skirmish game too.
