Man O'War

As we are going through a resurgence of mighty fighting ships I thought I'd finish of my fleet. As I have already lost my soul and I need my kidneys I have had to resort to an alternative supplier as I do not own any of the original models. Shame I didn't know about Dave's two boxes of delight earlier.
I have built my fleet from the medium and small sizes from the Uncharted Seas range by Spartan Games. Ever so slightly bigger than GW but the footprint is quite good.

First up my Khornate Bloodship. I think I managed the chaotic feel with the large automatons paddling and a third acting as the ram and maw. The cannon is from an old school goblin Warmachine.

Next up is Nurgle, the Plagueship is pretty much out of the box with gun barrels for mortars/ ballistas and old plastic shields for the paddle wheels. The Plaguecrushers have old chaos dwarf bombards as towers and man mangler wheels as paddles.

Presently Tzeentch is only the tower as I have no idea how I'm going to achieve a Winged Terror. The tower is an eldar cannon halved and put on a disc of Tzeentch.

Finally Slaanesh. The Hellship is a sail swap and the Hellslicers have had Khemri spear heads attached.

Chaos goes to War, but if I want to expand I will need to try and acquire originals as Hellslicers, Ironsharks and as mentioned the Winged Terror have unique hard to proxy parts. I may have to convert to more uncharted to keep the theme though. (I can hear the tears from EvilBay as I type )

Stunning work, I am quite jealous :)

That Bloodship brings to mind the ship from Sinbad And The Eye Of The Tiger.
