Bit of painting progress. Based them all with Typhus Corrosion, which is being painted over with very thinned down black. This will darken up the armour and not lose details (hopefully!) and I'm filling in the shoulder pad with purple to represent this chapter of Custards

Once that's done there'll be some brass and gold drybrushing, which should find some of the additional texture from the Typhus too to help rust up the armour. Then the cloaks and plumes will be done in purple too. Heads are being painted and fitted later as i didn't want Typhus splash on the bare heads. 3 of the Guardian squad have helmets, but the Allarus ones instead as I prefer those to the normal 'cone head' helmets.

Then the bases will be finished & painted - only have 3 made up so far as they're specific to 3 of the poses.

Yeah, so not much to moan about really. Doing them in hour stints so i don't go mad and rush though. Going to batch them, so once all have the brass on i'll go over with gold, then do the silver. Should be able to do shade paint on all of them in the same session once they're all at that point.

The neck brace is a bit much too. But as I throw my own guys off roofs he'd probably need it..
