Speediest speedpaint so far! Contrast paint, a drybrush and some recess shading and these frosty bois are tabletop ready!

Just the one pack of these guys, had to restrain myself when I was at Mantic. Reckon I can kitbash an Ice Queen to give them some Surge after realising how effective it is!

Used Army Painter matt white primer but yeah. Had it in mind as a way to do ice ever since first seeing the Northern Alliance minis and pleased with the effect.

I wasn't feeling particularly inspired by what is currently on my painting table, so decided to revisit the first model I painted upon getting back into the hobby last year and give it some TLC.

Nice to see the progress I've made, even if I'm still a long way from where I'd like to be!

Spent a couple of hours painting the first member of my ludus for Sons of Mars today. Aside from my usual messiness issues I'm pretty happy with how he came out.

Picked up a pack of pre assembled Genestealer Cultists at Warfare, and on closer inspection whoever glued them together did an awful job, so I'm using them to test out various colour schemes before settling on one for the whole army.

Pretty pleased with how this one turned out for a first attempt.
