If no magnets then I think rule of cool for the painting competition?

I agree. Form over function for the win.

Annoyingly only had three tiny magnets left so the other arm has to wait for the post, but arm one is a successful experiment!

Interesting.

I did some magnetising on some Marines back in the day but they had nice flat connection points between arm and torso.

Arenā€™t Eldar ball and socket joints? I imagine it would be quite tricky?

2x1x1mm magnet. Goes easily into the socket on the torso and just about fits in the ball of the arm. The curve of the socket and it being all well hidden under the overhanging shoulder pad helps hide any gapping as you can see from the gif that the arm magnet sticks out a bit. If there are issues you could sink the torso magnet deeper I suppose and effectively make it a pin and hole joint.

Looks great. I magnetized my medium and big bugs but somehow managed to get some of the magnets the wrong way round!

Following the whims of fancy, today was apparently the day for putting some paint on some small terrain bits.

GW have made some great little terrain pieces of late. Nice work on them.

Are these Underworlds? Or just generic terrain bits?
