Two posts close together as I've not had access to my computer.

Game Two.

500 points again, though this time we've decided to add basic objectives.
Chaos vs chaos. Inner sides of the playing cards are the board edges.

I never thought I'd get these guys out of storage again. A fully painted force! (Cheated though as some are proxies}

He's at it again, first psychic phase this game.

More paint on his beastmen and a glimpse of his non GW champ and swarm. I'm trying to break the habit while he's still young enough.

Though still waiting for spray for these guys.

Final shot of glorious battle. My possessed lord managed to take out six on the charge and only one in the second round and payed the price.

Another win for Ryan. My list wasn't really suitable and I don't think I really understood the objective.

Must be doing it right as he's asked for another game.

Great stuff, I really like the Thousand Sons models but they are hard work to get painted up.

What do you think of the game rules wise?

We are still getting silly things wrong, but generally ok.
My main problem is mortal wounds! I have just lost my third game to two psychic phases!
Ryan plans to change his faction to give me a chance. :D

The game pushes objective holding so I can see why the Internet pushes units with lots of dice, lots of buffs and lots of re rolls to remove them in one go. So, all in all, no changes there.

Last set for the moment.

Third game was going to introduce secondaries but neither of us had read the rules so hold objectives instead of walking over them.

Ryan's first completed unit. I will take a better photo at a later date.

Another loss for me. A pattern emerges, must be Tzeench.

Despite all of that, Dave & I still had a game end based on "all of Brad's stuff died" so he won even though I scraped more points

Did we find out if that was right or did we just play it that way?

Nice Tzaangors. Does he have the book with the different cults in? it gives TS loads of options.
