Warhammer Quest

Our little corner of pride

Warhammer Quest

Postby Dave » Tue Jul 21, 2020 5:17 pm

I mustered the enthusiasm to dust off the paint station, decided to get back to the Warhammer Quest set I started goodness knows how long ago. The Spiders and Bats were already done, the rest has been completed in the last 3ish weeks. Still need to do the 18 Orcs (Oathmark Goblins) and 12 Snotlings (Gnoblars). My nephews are coming of age so I’m hoping to get the boxed set models finished (as well as some kind of dungeon) in the next few months.

Well I certainly remember the conversations we had about these.
Nice to see them at last and they're looking good.

Cheers. Pictures are a real motivation killer! These aren’t exactly my best effort but I thought they were pretty decent until I saw the uploaded pictures!

They are from Atlantis Miniatures. They were well cast in resin but I still managed to miss a mould line or two.

Nice work. Really like the rats and goblins.

I know that feeling! Don't forget, you're looking at some serious magnification here - all that smooth blending suddenly, somehow, becomes very un-smooth! I always get disappointed when looking at photos of my work compared to the real thing.
