I just saw an advert, on TV no less, for Warhammer 40k! What's going on?!

Yeah, looked like a big set of 10-15ish books all about 40k.

80 issues with a fortnightly release schedule. £3.99 for #1, £6.99 for #2 and £9.99 after that (or an extra £1 for the premium version).

Because nothing says easy to get into like an 80 book series. I don't get who this is aimed at

The same people who buy the marvel comic ones and all the rest of the magazines that come with something free for a low price and then jacks up.

I doubt they've even produced much past the 5th issue, and they'll be re releasing this in the same format every few years

The biggest problem I see is that the novels aren't new, so anyone who cares about the 40k novels probably already has them.
