Age of Sigmar

Anyone keeping up on the wild Warhammer rumours?

Talk of nuking the whole game system and Old World from orbit and pretty much starting from scratch as a much more skirmishy based affair.

GW trying to get around issues of the prohibitive entry cost to the current game and the uncopyrightable genericness of some of the races.

I have to say what I've seen floating around has me cautiously interested.

Seen them, read them, gone "meh!" and moved on to something else. Unfortunately even if I was interested in playing WFB I don't trust GW to produce a good rules set any more.

Keeping an open mind as Fantasy was always my favourite. Always going to have its haters through company decisions but with all games you never know until you play. I.e. I've heard that frostheim is a very basic D20 game which we could get bored of/love the simplicity of! Wait and see for me.

Fantasy was always my favourite too, for some reason I'm actually optimistic about this release! :o

Beasts of War's latest rumour (lots of salt required) has some great sounding figs in the intro box.

I have some fantasy stuff so would be interested in seeing what it's like. Been ages since I played fantasy though. Anyone up for a game sometime?

I am up for a game but I'll probably wait and see what the community is saying about rather than buying it upon release.

They do look rather like Space Marines with the backpack filed off. Not sure what I was hoping for but these don't massively catch my interest.

Sigmarines - sorry, Mortal Realms

I suppose Blood Angel players are happy.
