Board game splash out

In celebration of the fact that I've finally found a group where I'll get to play these things, I'm planning to indulge my consumer desires and get one of many games I'd always thought looked awesome but lacked the people to play with.
Currently thinking:
- Battle Star Galactica (4-6 players, massively highly rated co-op with hidden traitors, quite long)
- Chaos in the Old World (4 players exactly, highly thematic each player is one of the Warhammer Chaos powers vying to be best at destroying the world, medium length)
or
Risk Legacy (Crazy persistent campaign Risk with permanent game altering effects from game to game. Like you physically rip up cards and put stickers on the board and in the rulebook and stuff. 4 or 5 players and really needs the same players game after game, so I'm worried might be a bit exclusionary even if it would be awesome, despite being Risk you don't play to world domination so games can actually be fairly quick I believe)
Anyone got any opinions on these? Anyone own or played any of these?
