Well I went down that route and Lycos was all like, well Skaffen was one of the first names on the register and you have a sub 100 id so I think you should keep it!

Yes they can, I think Lycos was talking more about the history bit - Mark has a lower NAF number than I do (#82 iirc).

Yes that is right Simon, I could change the name & keep the number but he thought it would be better to keep my original name. I am just better known now on Dakka and Warseer as Reaper Man 2020.

Just tell him you'd like to change it - not being disrespectful, but it's not like you've attended 100's of tournaments and played 100's of people. And I'd imagine some of those you played at Spiky all those years ago no longer play either.
Can change you ID on TFF if you want as well.
