I noticed Ray say he'd like to take a break from Necromunda and play something different, and I'm wanting to play something that isn't Shadespire or Kill Team, so thought now would be a good time to talk about a 'campaign' that the majority of us could get into?

Some pro suggestions:
Dreadball
Blood Bowl 7s
Vanguard

Some NO suggestions:
Blood Bowl (full game)
Frostgrave (I still want to run a campaign for this, but it would only be for 4-5 people)
Kill Team

Feel free to discuss any of the above and/or suggest others.
Only thing I think a campaign/league/whatever needs is that it can be played in a couple of hours (for Gary, Jon and myself) and that it doesn't matter if someone doesn't play week in/week out.

And of course, it doesn't mean that other games can't be played (i.e. Gary and Ray for KoW).

I was hoping kings of war vanguard might be the game for this, but obviously we need to try the rules out first

Don't count on me for campaigns! Not only has work been awful recently; but also I haven't told you guys yet ... the missus and I are expecting our first-born son/daughter in February so gaming may have to take a back seat for a while until we figure out the poop, vom and piss and how to keep it alive and not kill each other!

I still hope to keep coming down but perhaps on a slightly ad hoc basis to begin with.

Given the above news I would be up for trying this. I think I will selling or mothballing my larger games to capitalise on storage space, so fast small games with moderate unit counts will probably become my gaming norm.
