This is why GW stopped giving us nice things (post quoted exactly as written in a Necromunda facebook group):
"To say I am disapointed with Gor Half Horn would be an accurate statement.
As a Veteran Gamer, I appreciate the throwback to an old model and breathing new life into it. I like the way it looks. But I think the Specialist team has forgotten the rules in favor of "cool factor".
For me at least, back in the day I was as WYSIWYG as was possible with Necromunda. My models had what they had as closely as I could make it.
But Gor here is equipped with far more than his stat card would suggest. He is statted to be carrying a chainsword, plasma pistol, and shotgun.
The model is also carrying second pistol (fluffed as another plasma), frag grenades, and two (explicitly stated) stiletto knives. Not to mention having a Bionic Eye."
Give me strength....
Me? I like it personally and might be tempted to get one even if I don't play the new version.
1. Who says a Bionic Eye has to have any in-game effect.
2. Carrying two pistols <> being able to use two pistols - always have a spare.
3. Unless they've changed the rules, every model was assumed to have a knife, whether one was modelled or not.
4. "Dude, he's got grenades, let's surrender" - psychological.
