PM stuck in outbound

I sent a PM to Gary with my mobile but it still sat in the outbound folder, where a message sits until the recipient logs in at which point it moves to the sent folder.
I know Gary has logged in since I sent it as he’s made posts. Odd that the message has gone.

The recipient has to open the message for it to move to "Sent", just being logged on doesn't do.

And I haven't got into the habit of looking at my messages as they go to the account that's full of Russian spam. All are auto filed into the junk box and I visit once a month!

Ahh... I'm used to it being moved to "sent" as soon as they log on.

I think it's a phpBB thing, as it's the same on TFF.
