Hi Everyone

Hi Everyone,
I'm going to be moving to Andover soon, and need to get back into wargaming.
Was looking at getting into Guildball and was wondering if anyone plays at the club and if so, would be willing to show me the ropes?

Cheers

Hi Neal,

I'm Simon, the guy who you unfortunately had to talk to on Facebook. ;)

Hopefully Oli (nobby) will see this sooner rather than later as he's the resident GB guru and keen player, and you'll be able to arrange a game. I'm happy to give you a game too, but I've only played one "proper" game, so I'm not really an ideal candidate to give you a taster, though I hope to be able to get some games in later on so I can try and make Oli's second event later this year (work rota permitting!).

Or not with my first ever last place at the weekend. Was playing a new guild though and was a bit confused.

I play a lot of guild ball, so much so that it is now my main tournament game, always up for a game but in between teams atm whilst I wait for the masons to be resculpted.

Hi guys,

I was looking at starting a masons or hunters team but can't decide which one as I really like them both. Don't know what would be more newbie friendly.

masons!
I am actually one of the top masons players currently, i used hunters at the weekend, they are great fun, but im not very good with them, they seem quite difficult to use tbh whereas masons are a great all round team.

Oh cool, I'll probably have to look at something else then if you're masons :D

Well, Ive jumped right in and bought myself the Hunters starter set. Don't know if that's a good or a bad thing in regards to being new to the game.
Also, out of interest does anyone at the club play Flames of War / Team Yankee, Bolt Action etc?

I own late war Russians for flames of war, and also PAVN for the Vietnam version, but I haven't played in years. We found the game takes a bit too long to play on our normal evenings.
