Website changes

I've moved the new website I started looking at years ago with Gary so it is actually live. Also there should be a home page button at the top of the forum that goes to it. The forum also now has extra questions you have to get right before it will let you register. This should hopefully stop at least some of the bots. Because I've been messing with the source files for the forum, this does mean that if anyone upgrades the forum or starts installing new styles, things will break, so please don't. I have registered a test user so I know it works now. Turns out I broke it on tuesday so that would be why no one has tried to register all week.
Post any change/feature requests and general marvelling at my ability to screw things up here:

As far as I know you're the only one that can upgrade or install new styles, so it would only be you breaking it.
Might be as I'm on a phone, but the "Home" and "General" button have a "&[symbol I can't replicate]8249" showing after them.
[Edit] The thing above doesn't show when on the front page, just when in a sub-forum. I'll try and post a screenshot.

I have received three sign up attempts today. One is from test(you?) the others are same old, same old.

Attached is the error I'm seeing in the header. Don't get it on the home Index page but it appears on every sub-forum I go to.

Still getting spam sign-ups. Should we delete them as before or do you need to do it?

In a shocking moment of productivity, I have changed the home page to get it's content from a database so we can easily add/edit things on there. The list of pages at the top can be edited, and each article can be edited (although a nice front end to do this doesn't exist yet). If someone wants to make us a fancy banner for the top that would be good (size is 800x80).

I appear to have lost the ability to log out or am I being silly?

Whoops. I may try to patch the whole forum up to date soon. That should fix anything I have broken in my messing.

I don't seem to be able to log in from the forum home screen, the link seems to have disappeared.
