2015, it's how we roll ideas

So, anyone going to join me in tracking their win/losses this year?

Something I've seen the Muppets do is have a league table based on (miniature) games played throughout the year, so they have a club champion at the end of the year. Anyone interested in doing the same?

I will fund a prize if it only includes club miniature games. No tournaments, boardgames or quests.
Record win, draw, loss = points 3-2-1. One for the loss because it will encourage us to play more games

Sounds a good way to keep it from getting too bloated with every little game.

So from this week's Deadzone that's 3 for Me and Mike and 1 for Sven and Matt.

You'll have to badger the 40Kers into giving you some results!

These are the rules the Muppets use - can go 3-2-1, but I do like the bonus point for beating someone higher in the table.
The league is a chance for members to test each other’s mettle.

A win is worth 2 points. A bonus point may also be earned for defeating someone with a better rating than yourself in the league.
A draw is worth 1 point (any result defined as a draw by the scenario or rules you play).
A loss is worth 0 points.
And you must play at least ten games to be in contention for the title and you must be a member. Remember any game can be a league game as long you agree with your opponent beforehand.

Happy to run a league table, though I'd put it in a separate thread and record all my games in this one, and hopefully others will to.

Don't like the bonus point as someone who plays few games but is very good will always get a bonus. And if we go by 2-1-0
Play 20 games and lose all gets 0 points.
Play 5 and beat everyone apart from loser above will get 14 points.
Need to encourage more gaming.

Might want to set 1 game per night only. If playing dreadball could get quite a few in.

That's why I go for one for the loss, I will be there with you.

Just realised why they add the bonus point that didn't sit well with Mike (and it's not in their rules I posted above). Once you've played the minimum number of games (they have 10) the table is based on your average pts score (score/games), not just on your total score, so playing lots of games doesn't mean you go up the table, you still need to win.
