Urgent please read- anyone who was in on Tuesday 13/07

Hello all,

I was in the office on Tuesday and one of the staff members I was in the office with was unwell wednesday and has now tested positive for Covid. I wasn't in direct physical contact with her and kept 1m distance but as per our office policy I've got to self isolate.

I tested myself this morning as soon as I found out and I have tested negative, but I appreciate that it can take a few days to show up.

The rule has always been contacts of the person who tested positive have to isolate. So as long as Matthew continues to test negative then everyone from the club is fine to carry on as normal.

Thanks all, I'll only update this further if I test positive, if you don't hear anything assume I'm negative.

I reckon Mike sabotaged me so I don't beat him at Dead Mans Hand.

Contact tracing is 24hrs from symptoms onset/positive test so we should be fine. If you're negative now then you won't have been infectious on Tuesday. Given likely incubation periods there just isn't time for you to get it and pass it on that quick.

Not sure on the 24hrs - we (myself, Zoe, Rebecca and a family friend) got pinged Wed AM, but the last we were all together was Monday early PM, and looking at our isolation dates, it was probably Sat evening/Sunday for contact.

But sure you're all fine - we've done multiple tests during isolation and all negative.

There’ll be a delay between testing and results.

You contact someone on Sunday.
They start to feel ill Monday and get test.
Results Tuesday.
Contact tracing starts Wednesday.
