Sven beat me in a pick-up DB game in the last turn. Funny old game, me humans and Nightshade vs Sven's Asterians and #88. Sven sent off one of my Guards with his Guard's Dirty Tricks, Nightshade got #88 sent off, Sven's Jacks then got 3 of my players sent off, before he made the mistake twice (nearly 3 times!) of bringing on a 7th player. Sven managed a 3pt score in the last turn for a 1pt win.

Exiles went pretty bad, even by our poor standards. Pisspoor AV rolls didn't help (played AV6, AV7 and AV7 and made 6 Cas), but the dice just didn't want to play ball for me. Even the game I won (against Halflings!) I'd say was lucky, getting a lucky 1D on the ball carrier and getting the Both Down, which was the only good result for me.

Exiles was a game of two halfs, first day same as Simon but once I managed to dump him and swap for Mike my luck changed. Everyone talks of my negative aura but maybe they're pointing in the wrong direction?

Game 1, Besters with Pro elf. Skinks in a blizzard never good! I failed a white line GFI and a one square throw due to stunty, Besters didn't! 0-2, 0-1.
Game 2, VmCat with Wood elf. A true master class in a cat chasing his tail. Good game and if I was to moan it would be the two perfect defence kick offs against me. 0-2, 2-3.
Game 3, Monk with Orc. OMG! I have not played against someone with that much enthusiasm for a long time and absolutely loved the ride. He managed to kill two Saurus and the Kroxigor twice. Shame his ball handling skills were elsewhere. 4-0, 1-1. (He had six sent of for fouls causing three deaths)
Game 4, Big Belcher with Humans. I drag Mike down and make him pay money so he can play two club mates! (Sorry ), our game was in the pouring rain and I didn't pick up the ball until turn six. Both had rotten luck I just had a little less. 2-0, 2-0.
Game 5, Loki with more Pro elves. Where I couldn't catch players in game two this time I was lucky. A bit of a bloodbath with him only having four left to defend in the second half. 2-1, 4-1.
Game 6, CeeTee with Chaos Dwarf. Another very close game against Chris which was saved by a Kroxigor blitz. Both days the third game was the most enjoyable for two very different reasons. 2-1,1-0

Final result 4-0-2. TD 10-6, Cas 10-6 (+ve! Don't see that very often!)

Two Dreadball league games tonight. A very frustrating loss to Simon followed by Ray having a very frustrating loss to me. I would say the games were very similar but reversed, however even I cannot manage to roll sixteen dice and fifteen come up as ones.

Costly DB win vs Gary, but got me a whitewash win which at least dragged me back up the table a bit.

DB vs Dave, and despite Buzzcut being a bit unkind (would have killed the same guard twice if not for Can't Feel A Thing) managed to score enough 4pointers to pull to far ahead for Dave to pull back.
Also Dave's black dice are dodgy! 3dice test, 2 successes with 1 6 eventually turned into 7 successes! Even I managed to roll a 6 on one roll. I blame the Hugo Boss bag he's using.

Whitewashed by Mark - ended up facing off against 4 MVPs, and although I was in the game at the start (we traded 4 pointers) Buzzcut removing 3 players in 3 turns just about ended my chance in the game. Mark only had 2 members of his team on the field all game, and neither of them moved from their starting hex.
Yes, we know the MVP rule we're using doesn't work, but we started the league with it, so will suck it up for one more game week (when I expect to face Mike and 4+ MVPs).

Been quiet, only two games of KOW to report.
Draw to Matt, may of done better but had to pop out and my stand in didn't know my roster, and a draw to Oli. Used one list for both games and appeared to stand the test well. Time to drop it now.
